This low budget short film made in Medellín snagged the trophy for the 2015 edition of Proyecto 48H Colombia, a gritty film competition where we crank out a complete short in just 48 hours—no sleep, just chaos. Our challenge? A dark comedy packed with a mandatory line of dialogue and a specific prop. What did we serve up? A wild and satirical ride through the narrative of Death, the character, who’s fed up with the daily grind of his work.
I stepped in as both producer and screenwriter, and I also had my hands in the directing mix, guiding the vision through the madness. This little gem didn't just stop there; it was selected for the Miami Indie Festival and Filmapalooza in Seattle in the years that followed.
